New reports have surfaced which are claiming that Johnny Depp may not be there in "Pirates of the Caribbean 5". His fans are visibly upset by the news. However, they can heave a sigh of relief as Depp is very much a part of the film.
The Filming of "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" is almost half finished and it will be released on 26 May 2017. But some reports are claiming that the makers might still replace Johnny Depp and opt for a new face. Johnny Depp on, the other hand, has shot for the film as Captain Jack Sparrow. The report suggested that Depp is replaced due to his status as an actor which is going down. It even claimed that the movie's focus will be shifted from Jack Sparrow to Henry Turner, the son of Will turner.
The reports are a big disappointment for Johnny Depp fans. But should they really feel bad? Movie Pilot has refuted all such reports and stated that in "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" Johnny Depp will be back as Jack sparrow. Let's not forget that the success of "Pirates of the Caribbean" was largely due to the wacky humor of the film and Johnny Depp's portrayal of the iconic character Captain Jack Sparrow.
The new trailer has hinted at the plot of "Pirates of the Caribbean 5". The trailer introduces new characters Captain Salazar and Henry and there will a quest for Captain Jack Sparrow. Which means Johnny Depp's character is very much there in the film and it is still an important one.
Moreover, the plot of "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" involves Jack sparrow's pursuit for Poseidon's legendary Trident that will give him immense power as he will be able to control the oceans. Nevertheless, Sparrow is not seeking the trident for his own benefits, rather he wants to defend the sea from Captain Salazar. The other cast members of "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" are Kaya Scodelario, Orlando Bloom, Brenton Thwaites, Javier Bardem, Geoffrey Rush, David Wenham and Kevin McNally.
