As fans count the day until the much awaited premier of the upcoming "Spiderman Homecoming" Marvel has begun unveiling Easter Eggs for everyone's friendly neighborhood web slinger. In fact a tweet from Marvel reveals the latest teaser trailer which gives fans a preview on what to expect this time on Spidey's latest iteration. With that said the upcoming film has not released a teaser trailer but, some plot details as well.
Thankfully, this time around "Spiderman Homecoming" will no longer be about an origin story which gave fans a sign of relief. For the upcoming Spiderman Homecoming will focus on 15 year old Peter Parker as a high school student and will primarily be set in the walls of high school. In fact, film director Jon Watts described the film as a straight up high school movie.
As far as villain goes, it has been confirmed that for "Spiderman Homecoming" Michael Keaton will be playing Adrian Toomes also known as Vulture. As reported by Cinemablend, Adrian Toomes is an engineer who, after losing his job builds a flying exoskeleton suit. There are also hints that the suit will perhaps be a bit different as suppose to its comic origins as shown by its artwork which clearly depicts it being more advance than its source material.
In addition to these details, "Spiderman Homecoming" will feature characters that are a staple in the spiderman universe such as Zendaya Michelle (Mary Jane Watson), which has stirred up controversy because Zendaya is pretty different on how the comics portrayed Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) love interest. In the same fashion Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) also stirred controversy as fans say the actress is perhaps too young for the role. Martin Starr, Donald Glover, Hannibal Buress and Kenneth Choi are also set to appear in the film.
Before his appearance on the upcoming film, Peter Parker was last seen as part of Team Ironman in the previous Marvel film "Captain America: Civil War" where he was enlisted by Tony Stark also known as Ironman in the fight against Captain America as they fought for whether or not superheroes should be under the government. In exchange, Stark provided him his upgraded Spiderman suit which is shown in the trailer to have gliders "Spider-Man Homecoming" is set to be released in theaters nationwide on July 7, 2017, The film was written by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley.
