‘Injustice 2’ Release & Update: Red Hood To Debut As Brutal Robin?

'Injustice 2' Release & Update: Fans are much anticipating the expected release of 'Injustice 2' next year. With this, Ed Boon gives a few teasers as what fans might expect from the next update of the infamous video game.

Ed Boon has been posting a poll for any character that people may be wanting to see in 'Injustice 2'. When he asked which version of Robin they want to play with, most votes went to the character of Red Hood, also known as Jason Todd.

Aside from Red Hood, other Robins such as Nightwing and Damien Wayne (Batman's son) topped the polls. However, Red Hood won with 19, 591 votes taking about 57%. Red Hood only got into a video game through his appearance in Rocksteady's Arkham Knight.

So what about Jason Todd? In the comics, the Joker clubbed Jason Todd to death, as he is already the "Robin" by that time. However, he was resurrected through the Lazarus' Pit of Ra's Al Ghul. Being resurrected through the Lazarus' Pit will make the person into a more violent person, having bloodlust to compensate for the life he has been given.

After his resurrection, Jason Todd went back to Gotham to take revenge on those people who wronged him. But Red Hood is brutal and violent - the worst among all the Robins in the Batman franchise.

So with fans wanting Red Hood into the video game franchise, it is possible that he could be featured in 'Injustice 2' to be released next year.

Aside from Red Hood, there are other individuals that may end up being included into the video game franchise. Some of the names that significantly made it to the polls are Spawn, Hellboy, and Terminator - all of which that doesn't even include within the DC universe.

What about you? Is there any character you want to see on the next Injustice franchise? Would a Marvel crossover be a good idea? Nah! We'll just have to wait and see for more updates in the future.
