"Luke Cage" certainly had an awesome first season that had Marvel fans wanting more, but it looks like Powerman will not be returning to Netflix until late 2018. Will "Luke Cage" Season 2 get moved back to a fall premiere to make way for "Jessica Jones" Season 2 and "Daredevil" Season 3?
There is little doubt that "Luke Cage" Season 2 will not air until 2018, since the Marvel/Netflix lineup already promises "Iron Fist", "The Defenders" and "The Punisher" next year. 'Jessica Jones' Season 2 Air Date Moved Ahead Of 'Luke Cage' Season 2 And 'Daredevil' Season 3 In 2018?
GamenGuide has previously reported on the possibility that "Jessica Jones" Season 2 is Netflix's pick to start off the Marvel lineup in 2018. Some believe that the show is in dire need of a followup much sooner than the other Marvel shows. Unfortunately, this would mean that "Luke Cage" Season 2 and "Daredevil" Season 3 will be pushed back to make way for the Krysten Ritter series.
There are speculations that "Jessica Jones" Season 2 could air in March 2018 while the Charlie Cox-led "Daredevil" Season 3 will follow in late summer. Unfortunately, this could leave "Luke Cage" Season 2 with an air date sometime in fall 2018. But when exactly will Powerman return to Netflix?
