Developer Naughty Dog has announced that the awaited co-op mode of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," Survival is coming out next week. In addition to the Survival mode, the free update will also include new content for the competitive multiplayer mode of the game according to a blog post of the developer.
"Tune in as we debut the new maps, mode, weapons and more coming to Uncharted 4: Multiplayer, as well as extended live gameplay from Survival," reads Naughty Dog's blog post. GameSpot reports that on Dec. 13 at 11 AM PT, Naughty Dog will be running a livestream to flaunt more Survival mode content for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" as well as to show the fresh multiplayer DLC. This includes new weapons, maps, skins, vanity items, boosters and a new mode.
Like the previous expansions of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," the Survival mode is totally free. According to Game Rant, fans are still waiting for any information on the single-player DLC of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End." Naughty Dog remains silent regarding this issue and stated that the information for the solo expansion has a long way to go.
However, this doesn't hinder fans from speculating on what the single-player DLC of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" could contain. Additionally, there have been reports circulating the web that have pointed out Nathan Drake's brother Sam, who might star in the story DLC for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End."
This report came from a Sony insider claiming that the story DLC for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will focus largely on Sam Drake and Sully, Nathan's usual partner in crime. Reports suggest that Nathan Drake will also make an appearance but he won't be playing a significant role.
An action-adventure video game, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" was developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 4. The game was widely acclaimed by video game publications upon its release.
