There will be a new superhero in town when "The Flash" season 3 returns to The CW in January, and she will come in the form of Justice League hero Gypsy. The news comes via "The Flash" star Carlos Valdes, who admitted that Gypsy's arriving to the show to team up with Cisco's Vibe.
Comicbook reports that since Valdes' character, Cisco is still learning the ropes of his new superpowers as Vibe, he'll need a hand in navigating his new skills. During CW's Fan Feast Q&A, Valdes admitted that Justice League Hero Gypsy's arriving to the show to team up with Cisco's Vibe. He said that in "The Flash" season 3, "Vibe will definitely get to learn some new skills as part of getting to know her."
In the DC comics, Justice League hero Gypsy goes by the name Cindy Reynolds. She, along with Vibe and Steel, was created by Gerry Conway and Chuck Patton. Her superpowers include telepathy and illusion casting, as well as camouflaging herself and another person if need be. Moreover, she also has the ability to project skin-crawling visions into a person's mind. The question is now, how will she make her way into "The Flash" season 3? We already know that she's arriving to the show to team up with Cisco's Vibe, so we know that she's one of the good guys.
According to Nerdist, Gypsy and Vibe were both members of the Justice League Detroit from way back in the 1980s. She has also been described as a "runway form another dimension" in the New 52 continuity. It would be interesting to find out how she will make her way to "The Flash" season 3 and what her relationship with Cisco's Vibe will be like.
"The Flash" season 3 is currently on winter break and will return on January 24.
