As "South Park" Season 20 ended, a lot of fans were expectedly saddened by the finale. More so, there have been rumors saying that this could be the last season of the show. However, Comedy Central had recently announced that the boys will be returning for "South Park" Season 21. Even better, the network had renewed the show up until Season 23.
Originally, the contract for the show was only until "South Park" Season 20. However, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators and directors of the animated series, has been renewed in 2015. The release date for "South Park" Season 21 would be on September 2017. Fans are hoping for an earlier premiere date, but Comedy Central still has to release an official word.
