The game "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" is the eleventh major release in the "Call of Duty" series that is developed by Sledgehammer Games and released on November 4, 2014. Now, there is enough reason to believe that a sequel to the game, "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare 2" will be released next year.
Sledgehammer Games has been continuously trying to upgrade their "Call of Duty" games ever since "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare." As for game content and gameplay, the game is well packed. Gamers are quite familiar with the modes in the "Call of Duty" series -- the solo play, multiplayer and zombie mode. "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" wrapped up its story nicely leaving enough room for another game to come out which might be "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare 2."
The game ended with Jonathan Irons (Kevin Spacey), the CEO and the founder of the private military company Atlas, killed after he attempted to release a bio-weapon to the world in order to bring permanent peace. However, even if Irons is dead, Atlas is still around, and being one of the largest armed forces in the world, it would just elect a new leader. Because of this, there is more than enough room to make a sequel of "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare 2."
Considering that "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" had a good reception among fans, it is most likely that Sledgehammer will release another "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare 2" but its settings and plot have yet to be revealed.
On the other hand, it remains to be seen whether or not Sledgehammer will bring out a sequel, especially with the divisive reception among "Call of Duty" games like "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." It is most likely that "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" will be stuck on its cliffhanger ending, but then again, it's too early to say. It is more interesting to wait for "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare 2,"
