Ab-Soul recently did an interview on the radio morning show, "The Breakfast Club," where he was asked about the existence of a Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole album. Charlamagne The God asked if Ab-Soul has a track on the new collaborative album, to which he replied, "I can't speak on that. I wish I could."
When the radio host continued asking about the album, Ab-Soul finally confirmed that a Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole album exists and that there is "something in the works." Ab-Soul also added that the rappers have been working on the project "for awhile." However, the "Huey Knew" rapper did not disclose details on the release date or how far Cole and Lamar are in completing the album.
The Fader released an updated report where it reached out to Ab-Soul for a further comment regarding the Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole collaborative album. According to the publication, Ab-Soul neither denied nor confirmed about the existence of the hotly anticipated album.
While fans continue to wait for a Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole new album, the latter artist just released his latest 2016 album titled "4 Your Eyez Only." As reported by Hits Daily Double, J. Cole's 2016 album could sell between 400 to 500 thousand copies this week and the artist could land on the number one spot on Billboard.
