The "Shake it off" singer recently posted on her twitter account a preview of her new song "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" playing over with a sexy trailer from the raunchy flick. It is no doubt that this song will hit iTunes and reach the No.1 spot.
While the former One Direction boy band member, Zayn Malik has hinted in his social media account by sharing a black-and-white photo of him and Taylor and simply use the hashtag #idontwannaliveforever. This song is the first of Taylor since the album she released on 2014, 1989. Taylor shared the single cover on her Instagram account and wrote "Z | T | 50," and fans can't contain their praises and happiness for the two as they have done a very wonderful job.
Taylor has indeed back with a bang! The upbeat track features the two singing together at a high pitch. Taylor shared another photo featuring their song on the No.1 spot on iTunes just hours after the 26-year-old singer shared the clip. The song was written by Taylor Swift, Sam Dew, and Jack Antonoff, Us Weekly has reported.
Taylor Swift rarely does collaboration and when she does? She chooses wisely the projects and her collaborators. So questions may arise as to why the singer decided to write and contribute to the movie, "Fifty Shades Darker," and with Zayn, of all people. Cleveland listed the possible theories.
First, of the theories - the tracks from Sia, Ellie Goulding, Beyonce, and The Weeknd in the first movie was a huge success that in 2015 it sold about more than 2.2 million copies. So it is merely the better way if Taylor wanted to conquer the global music industry. She would get into a big hit franchise.
Second - she wanted to have the award from Oscar and Tony. Taylor sure does get a bunch of Grammys and Emmy. Just like The Weeknd who got nominated for the best original song last year at the Academy Awards for "Earned It," his soundtrack contribution.
Third - Taylor was doing a favor for her friend Gigi Hadid as she is one of Swift's closest friend. Right after Zayn broke from One Direction he then released his first single "Pillowtalk" and got No.1 but the hype goes down. So making a collaboration with Taylor will be a better idea to raise his profile again.
Fourth - Taylor is taking a break in making albums as she was the highest paid musician, earning over $170 million. It doesn't matter she would take a break off making an album cause she could still bring the dough in. And the Fifth reason, she wanted to make and give her viewing public a present for upcoming holidays.
