"Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" revealed Michael's secret, his journey and his future plans. Unveiled as a cut scene from the "Golden Freddy" mode, gamers were treated to a creepy recounting of Michael's past and his experiences with various animatronics.
It appears that Michael was having a personal conversation with his father, who is not featured in the clip, about finding a certain someone and setting her free. Despite completing his task, he is now faced with a problem since he is unable to die. With his immortal-like status, Michael decided to look for his father instead.
With the cut scenes featured in "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sisters Location," gamers can piece together snippets of information and connect it the whole story of the game. Scott Cawthon, the gaming title's creator, confirmed in a post on Steam that the "Golden Freddy" final cut scenes are part of a bigger story.
Speculations also pointed to Michael as Springtrap while others hinted at the said character as the Purple guy. However, some gamers speculated that Michael and William Afton may be one and the same. William may have changed his name to Michael given the various crimes that he committed.
Meanwhile, "Five Nights at Freddy's" creator Cawthon remained silent about the game's story. Avid fans of the survival horror game are now expecting Cawthon to release a new installment to the game to continue Michael's story and his new quest to find his father.
In other news, a movie adaptation of "Five Nights at Freddy's" may feature characters from the game's "Sister Location" expansion. Avid fans can look forward to seeing Ballora, Baby and Funtime Freddy on the big screens.
