BBC One's "Poldark" Season 3 just recently released its trailer--which didn't really reveal much apart from meaningful looks from Ross Poldark (Aidan Turner). Still, there's a ton of information to unpack about the upcoming season, including the fates of the ill-fated love triangle: Poldark, Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson) and Elizabeth (Heida Reed).
New "Poldark" Season 3 rumors abound, however, that Demelza will not get over Ross' philandering ways this time--and will leave Ross to fend for himself. Not that Ross would resist as much, as he might choose to raise Elizabeth's child instead. Is there any chance of the Poldarks getting back together?
Demelza to get over Ross; Armitage new love interest?
Fans would recall that during "Poldark" Season 2, Elizabeth and Ross hooked up together. Unknown to everyone else, Elizabeth got pregnant after she got married, and fans strongly believe that the father is Poldark himself. What should fans expect in "Poldark" Season 3?
"Poldark" Season 3 will kick off on those tensions as Demelza and Ross wade through this new martial hurdle. However, the introduction of Hugh Armitage (to be played by Josh Whitehouse)--described as an emotional blackmailer albeit a romantic--could pose a threat to the possibility of them ever getting back together.
Armitage in 'Poldark' Season 3
In fact, Demelza will be practically begging for Armitage to court her in "Poldark" Season 3, which is also according to the fourth book, "The Four Swans." And Armitage is only too happy to oblige her and lavishes the damsel with the attention she never got from the brooding antihero that is Poldark.
"Poldark" Season 3 will, no doubt, explore the happenings within this affair, and how this will affect Poldark. After all, Demelza is the damsel who can do no wrong, so deciding deliberately to have an affair will no doubt slap some sense into Poldark. Stay tuned for more "Poldark" Season 3 news and updates.
