The much-awaited appearances of the legendary Pokemon and Mewtwo in "Pokemon Go" will finally arrive in the rumored event this coming holiday season. The recent updates seen is to make Pokemon trainers be hooked again suggests that it may really happen soon.
"Pokemon Go" recently released an update that is speculated to have an event coming being placed. Niantic Labs is in the process of updating "Pokemon Go" version to 0.49.1 for Android and 1.19.1 for iOS devices. Rumors claim that the update may include new 100 Pokemon creatures including the legendary ones and Mewtwo.
According to Forbes, the speculation started after fans spotted a Starbucks promotion "More Pokemon are coming to Pokemon Go." Although, Niantic Labs and Starbucks have not officially announced their partnership deal it sends a clear message that the game may add legendary Pokemon like Mewtwo or it's just a Gen 2 Pokemon.
In NewsEveryday, it suggests that there are reports of the biggest event that will happen this holiday season. The rumored event is said to happen, between December 20 to 27 this year, showcasing the legendary Pokemon except for Mewtwo. It is rumored that Mewtwo will be added to "Pokemon Go" in New Year's Eve in selected countries, which one of these is at the Times Square in New York.
In another report, the code that will be used to "Pokemon Go" 0.49.1 version has been checked by some users but, there is no trace of Mewtwo. According to Android Authority, the code includes male and female genders to Pokemon, user's avatar can now be customized, and Pokemon will have the option to wear costumes for this holiday event.
However, the reports are only rumors based on the current events that the players noticed in playing "Pokemon Go." There are no confirmation yet if the legendary Pokemons including Mewtwo will appear in the next update or if there is really a Christmas or New Year's Event.
Meanwhile, Niantic Labs confirmed the "Pokemon Go" 0.49.1 for Android and 1.19.1 for iOS version update but, there is no legendary Pokemon and Mewtwo in released notes. The confirmed update allows trainers to send multiple Pokemon to Professor Willow at a time. It also added a total candy count for the trainer's buddy Pokemon and total kilometers that the buddy has walked.
