Various cancellation news for "Code Black" have been circulating in the internet regarding its very low ratings after its series earned low returns after season 1. However, CBS just confirmed that they just ordered three additional new episodes with a total of 16 episodes in all.
As per TV Series Finale the series has been viewed by 7.11 million equivalent to 1.27 rating in the 18-49 demographic, while season 2 got an average of 7.94 million viewers after its press release. The ratings just proved that the series deserves more chances and share more humors and laughter to the viewers.
According to reports, "Code Black" premiered September 28, 2016 and it seemed that the series didn't make a good start after it got lower ratings. The series was created by Michael Seitzman. Based on Ryan McGarry documentation, the series focused on the events at Angels Memorial Hospital.

"Code Black" starred Marcia Gay Harden who reprised the role as Dr. Leanne Rorish, Razza Jeffrey played as Dr. Neal Hudson, Melani Chandra as Dr. Malaya Pineda, Bonnie Somerville played as Dr. Christa Lorenson, William Allen Young who played as Dr. Rollie Guthrie, Harry Ford as Dr. Angus Leighton , Benjamin Hollingsworth as Dr. Mario Savetti and many others.

Marlee Matalin appeared in "Code Black" Season 2, though she played as a deaf she just proved that her silence has made great accomplishments. Fans are hoping that series will also focus on Jesse, Rollie, and Malaya's futures as their characters received lesser lights.
