"Sorry" is Vevo's Number Video for 2016
With more than a million videos in Vevo, the famous Biebs "Sorry" dominated the list this year. With more than 1.8 billion views, the video hosting service shared how Justin Bieber's song topped the list.
Meanwhile, his other songs like "Love Yourself" and "What Do You Mean?" ranked fifth and sixth on their list. DigitalSpy was provided with top ten of the most-viewed video in America, UK and worldwide but "Sorry" topped all of the lists.
Runner Ups
A lot of good songs were produced this year 2016 but only a few made it on top. Following Justin Bieber's "Sorry" is Adele's "Hello." Adele's known for her powerful voice and meaningful lyrics and most of the hits dominated the lists. With over 1.2 billion views worldwide, the famous "Someone Like You" singer ranked second.
Next in line is "Work From Home" by Fifth Harmony. The American girl group, who started at "The X Factor USA" in July 2012, ranked third with over 1.1 billion views.
With over 1 billion views, DJ Calvin Harris' "This Is What You Came For" ranked fourth in Vevo's most watched video worldwide. Guess his split with the Swift has resulted into a good one. Again, the Justin Bieber's Purpose hits "What Do You Mean?" and "Love Yourself" ranked fifth and sixth with over 900 million views.
Other runner ups include Drake's "Hotline Bling" (899,014,469), Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk (825,589,463), Rihanna's "Work" (800,984,121) and the Chainsmoker's "Closer" (776,806,154).
