"Mr. Robot" Season 3 is expected to come out in 2017 and fans could no longer wait to know more about its plot. The new season is said to follow the life of Elliot as he continues to struggle with the mental disorder. The upcoming run will also feature the real role of Angela in the American drama-thriller television series.
According to the latest reports, Sam Esmail, the film and television director who created the highly-acclaimed series, revealed during a Screen Actors Guild panel that Elliot will have a serious battle with a mental disorder. The character, who is played by Rami Malek, will have a harder time controlling his mind in "Mr. Robot" Season 3. He has been portrayed as someone with a deep dissociative identity disorder, clinical depression, and social anxiety disorder.
"The Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) character has to reflect what stage Elliot is in, and how to handle that disorder... The second season was about the battle," Esmail said. With his mind getting troubled than ever, Elliot is going to have to fight harder to contain himself in "Mr. Robot" Season 3.
There are also reports circulating that Elliot might completely transform himself in "Mr. Robot" Season 3. According to Esmail, Elliot is going to be a different person once the third season premieres next year. The series creator suggests that Elliot will no longer be the same naive person viewers saw in the first two runs of the show.
Meanwhile, Angela, who is played by Portia Doubleday, has always been pretty mysterious. The production team has definitely done a good job in hiding her real intention, which gives the show a little more unpredictability. However, reports area saying that in "Mr. Robot" Season 3, Angela's real motivation will be revealed.
As of the moment, USA Network and the rest of the people behind the show have yet to provide the official air date of "Mr. Robot" Season 3. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
