iPhone 7s Specs, Rumors, Latest News & Update: Apple Hardware Refresh Pattern, A New Phone On An Old Body
According to Apple Insider, Apple has followed a brilliant marketing strategy that has successfully turned in big profits for the multinational technology company since 2011. Instead of releasing a new phone that is wholly different from its predecessor (like Samsung S4, S5, S6...), Apple has been sticking with its yearly "s" cycle, which basically is the same phone with little or no upgrades at all.
The trend that started from the iPhone 4s has certainly been a key factor in Apple's annual success. Prior to releasing a new phone that is entirely different from its predecessor, the California based tech company usually releases a slightly upgraded s version.
Rumors have since circulated that Apple's new iPhone 7s might feature slight upgrades. If you are an owner of the iPhone 7, buying the iPhone 7s might not be necessarily needed. Mac Kotara, the famous Japanese blogger that predicted Apple would discard the headphone jack has said the the only improvements for the new iPhone 7s is an upgraded A11 processor and a new color scheme. If that's bad enough, albeit previous rumors, the wireless charging technology might not be available till Apple releases the iPhone 8.
iPhone 7s Specs, Rumors, Latest News & Update: Waterproof iPhone 8?
It's no wonder why people are investing their money on iPhones, it's a premium phone that is designed to withstand terrible conditions. With that being said Apple is gearing to make their phones beach proof.
According to Mirror, Apple will be making the iPhone 8 water resistant like the iPhone 7. The phone has an IP67 rating that is enough to survive 30 minutes of submersion to a one meter depth of water. If rumors are true, accidentally dropping your iPhone in the sink might not be as scary as it was before.
