Kim Kardashian is not divorcing Kanye West. Jonathan Cheban, a close friend of the couple, straightened out the issue on their behalf, saying there is no truth about it. Rumors began after West was discharged from the hospital that Kardashian is distancing herself from her husband.
"I just FaceTimed with Kim and Kanye and everyone's talking about some divorce rumors and I was laughing because I did not hear that all day, Cheban was quoted as saying on E! Online. "And I guess everybody else apparently here did and it is so funny to me because it is so not true," Cheban continued.
Cheban also explained that he does want to talk about Kanye West and Kim Kardashian because it is not his business, but the rumors on divorce. According to him are "hysterical" that he burst out laughing because he just spoke to them on FaceTime before he attended the holiday party of DailyMail.
The past months were not easy for the couple. Kim Kardashian was a victim of robbery in Paris, where jewelry worth $10 million was taken from her. Only weeks after, her husband Kanye West was admitted to University of California Los Angeles Medical Center after he had a mental meltdown, suffering from hallucinations, extreme paranoia and severe psychosis. West had manifested erratic behavior even before he was admitted.
The divorce speculations began as soon as Kanye West was released from a hospital as instead of staying at their conjugal house. The rapper continues his outpatient treatment at a house rental, under the personal care of his physician and his wife Kim Kardashian. Kim, however, does not stay with Kanye as she has their kids to take care of. Both Kim and the kids are staying at their house at Bel Air.
None of the couple made any statement regarding West's hospitalization and diagnosis, but a friend of the couple claimed Kim "has many things on her plate, so being overwhelmed is expected." The robbery in Paris traumatized the couple.
