More holiday gaming deals are coming with Steam Holiday 2016 sale confirmed to happen soon. Steam's biggest Winter Sale 2016 will happen on Dec. 2, if the latest leaked information is anything to go by.
A NeoGAF user posted a screenshot of the schedule for Steam Winter Sale 2016. According to VG247, the screenshot is likely taken from a group that only Steam developers have access to. It was revealed that Steam Holiday 2016 will start on Dec. 22 at 9:50 a.m. Pacific Time and will end on Jan. 2, 2017 at 10:10 a.m. PT.
Although the Steam Winter Sale 2016 dates have not been confirmed by Valve, the information was leaked in November, correctly predicting the start and end date of the Autumn Sale 2016. This could also mean that the Dec. 22 start date for the Steam Holiday Sale 2016 is highly likely.
The Steam Winter Sale 2016 is the biggest sale offered by Valve, brining huge discounts to popular game titles. At the moment, there is no information on which games will be offered on this year's Steam Holiday 2016, but it's expected to be big, considering that a lot of awesome game titles have been released this year.
Based on Valve's trend, a game should be at least seven months old to be part of the list of games for Steam Winter Sale 2016, PCGamer noted. That said, triple-A titles like "Dark Souls III," "The Witcher III" and "DOOM" are predicted to be offered with a 50 percent discount. "Fallout 4" is another title that might have a huge discount on Steam Winter Sale 2016.
Then again, these games have not been confirmed and Valve hasn't announced anything official yet. Fans can only hope that the aforementioned triple-A titles will indeed make it to the 2016 Steam Holiday Sale. For more updates, check out GamenGuide.
