Sadly Sam Hueghan did not get the number one slot. He is grateful, though, to be included in Glamour's Top 100 Sexiest Man for 2017. With a silly wink emoji in his Twitter post, he stated that his fans have an "impeccable taste" for putting him in the 63rd spot.
The 32-year-old Scottish actor is best known as Jamie Fraser and the charming husband of Claire Beauchamp (Caitriona Balfe) in the highly anticipated historical drama TV series, "Outlander." Sam Hueghan was nominated for 2016 Best Actor on Television and People's Choice Award for playing Jamie.
Despite his very busy career in showbiz, Sam Hueghan has been actively supporting charity based in UK in its cause in funding research and providing support to blood cancer patients, Bloodwise. He has run many marathons for the charity to raise funds and bring awareness about blood cancer.
Sam Hueghan is also engaged with his duties as Barbour's First Global Brand Ambassador. According to the brand's website, the actor has to appear in the events as well as do photo shoots which will incorporate Barbour's exclusive tartans. Sam Hueghan made many fans excited when he appeared at this year's New York Tartan Day Parade.
Meanwhile, Daily Record shares that it's not only Sam Hueghan from "Outlander". Tobias Menzies who played a dual role as Frank Randall and Black Jack Randall also made it in the list of Glamour's Top 100 Sexiest Man for 2017. The British actor bashfully reacted to the news on a post on Twitter saying, "I doubt I'm the 79th sexiest man" but eventually thanked his fans for voting him.
Tobias Menzies will be seen in the TV series "The Night Manager" as Geoffrey Dromgoole and in AMC's "The Terror" as James Fitzjames. He will also hit the big screen as Marius in "Underworld: Blood Wars," which is slotted to be released on January 6, 2017.
