After releasing the first footage of “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” Marvel and Sony would release the full trailer on Thursday, Dec. 8. Venue of the release is on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” which airs at 11:35 p.m. EST/PST.
Based on the 15-second preview, “Spider-Man: Homecoming” has the look and feel of a movie footage taken from the point of view of Peter Parker. Before Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) interrupts the scene, the video shows the make-shift red costume of Spider-Man while inside a hotel room, Movieweb reports.
Tony Stark Sends A Case
A case from Tony Stark with a note on top is on the coffee table. In the next scene of the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” preview, Spider-Man is seen sitting on top of the Washington Monument. He jumps off and spreads his new webbed wings.
Cinemablend noted that at first glance, the teaser for “Spider-Man: Homecoming” appears like it is during the present day because of the scenes involving Peter Parker and Happy Hogan, the friend and bodyguard of Tony Stark. However, the entertainment website pointed out that looking closely at the teaser would indicate that it would partly go back to events previously unseen at the “Captain America” third installment.
Different & Bigger Web-Shooter
An over-sized web-shooter is seen on the arms of Peter Parker which is bigger than the one used by Spider-Man against Captain America and other anti-registration heroes. That specific “Spider-Man: Homecoming” scene took place prior to the airport battle in “Captain American: Civil War.”
The technologically advanced Spider-Man suit was sent by Tony Stark, “The Iron Man.” It has a mask with eye-tracking capability to a smaller web-shooter. The web-shooter has a Spider-Signal, while the new Spider-suit comes with web wings, moviegoers would see when they watch “Spider-Man: Homecoming” which premieres on July 7, 2017.
Tom Holland, who stars as Spider-Man, has a six-movie contract with Marvel. The first was “Captain America: Civil Wars.” The second is “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” which is part of a trilogy. Tom Holland would still appear in three other Marvel films as Spider-Man.
