To start off, Sony President Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed that fans need not worry about patches related to titles stopping them from playing the game as now there will be the option where players can download a 300 MB patch in the background while they continue playing.

On asked by a fan whether players can download the 300mb patch in the background while the players is continuing with a title’s single player, Yoshida just replied “Yes.”

Furthermore, it was also confirmed that players will have both game chat and game audio running simultaneously via the dedicated DualShock 4 headset. Apparently, fans will also have the option to make use of the official Vita headset for the same if they desire.

The following was confirmed when a fan asked: “can we have game chat and game audio running at same time though dualshock4 headset port? can we use official vita headset too?”

Additionally, Yoshida also confirmed that for the titles that will support co-op play, players will be able to make use of Remote Play on the Vita that will allow a second player join using the DualShock 4.

On asked, “If I am playing Lego Marvel in remote play on the vita, can a second player on the PS4 join me with a DS4,” Yoshida confirmed it with a video for the same.

However, all that depends on the game developer himself if there will be the option to pursue this Remote Play option with a game. As of now, Knack is the only game that has been confirmed to arrive with this feature.

Sony’s PlayStation 4 is currently scheduled to release on Nov. 15 in North America and Nov. 29, 2013 in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
