On the recent episodes of "Empire" Season 3, Jamal discovered the childhood video of his mother, which he made an inspiration for the song he was making. Jamal also planned to write a whole album for his father.
Luscious will be in trouble on the next episode as Tariq and Leah will be joining forces to bring him down while Anika seemed wanted Luscious to kill his mother. Luscious got jealous after hearing that song, just turned and walked away. Jamal decided to make a song for him as well wherein he put everything describing how villainous father he was. Luscious of "Empire" Season 3 also admitted that he killed Tyrone Ward's Frank Gathers and confessed that he's fallen out of love for his family.
Meanwhile, as GamenGuide reported about the Cookie's dogged-up video tells about her childhood memories. During the time she was rebellious against her father until she was thrown out of their home, and after a few days, her father died in "Empire" Season 3.

Reports also says that Cookie's father discovered a gun and a drug money inside her room which made him very mad, as those were from Luscious. That instance made her blame herself and up to this day Cookie of "Empire" Season 3 still feels the pain of that incident and memory.
