NBA Season just started two months ago, yet the NBA spice does not seem like it just started. As NBA never fails to give thrills and excitement to its fans, players are hyping their game up for this competitive year of NBA. Who does not want a "Most Valuable Player" or "MVP" award?
On the NBA early season, players are listed on their early performance, with early predictions. To start off, fifth on the list, the first round 30th pick, Chicago Bulls' Jimmy Butler. As Jimmy is surrounded with new players around him like, Dwyane Wade, Rajon Rondo and Michael Carter Williams, he has been quietly racking up high numbers on every game of his team, though it is not enough to win games, reason he is ranked at five.
Next is, Kevin Durant, who recently joined the NBA 'Superteam', Golden State Warriors. Kevin Durant has the enough reason to be associated on the MVP talk. Despite being surrounded with great and superstar players, Kevin Durant still has the power to dominate and step his game up, making good number in overall position. Kevin Durant got better stats this season, compared to his MVP year, 2013.
For the third spot, Kawhi Leonard. Kawhi Leonard, the NBA Silent Assassin, reels great stack of numbers on contribution in every San Antonio Spurs' games. As Kawhi Leonard perfectly fits on Greg Popovich, San Antonio Spurs' head coach's system, he has been an essential and a valuable player on his team because of the plays that starts and ends with him. So far, he just hit his sixth 30-point game in this early season.
On the second place, James Harden. As Harden says that he is the NBA MVP, he never fails to show it. Showing off his valuable average stats, 28.3 points, league's best assist 11.8, and 7.8 rebounds for the Houston Rockets, making his team look and play better than ever.
First, the triple double machine Brodie, Russell Westbrook. Russell Westbrook stepping out on the first place, overshadowing his ex-teammate, Kevin Durant. No brainer, Russell Westbrook shall top the NBA MVP list as he piles triple double average. He is currently on pace on the history for having the most triple double in one season. Russell Westbrook already has 11 triple doubles in span of 22 games, half of their total game has three double digit stat.
The season is early, so being the players' fatigue. It will be a long run to earn the NBA MVP award.
