Moon Express Latest News & Update: Space Company To Organize Lunar Vacation Worth $10,000!

Moon Express has announced its plan on sending tourists to the moon by selling recreational tickets by 2026. The highly ambitious plan of the space flight company will cost tourists a whopping price of $10,000.

Moon Express, a private spaceflight company believes that after a decade going to the moon will be easy and will cost less. The advancement in technology makes the idea of recreational purposes on the moon possible. The space exploration company plans to sell the tickets for the moon travel soon.

A billionaire and philanthropist Naveen Jain founded Moon Express in 2010. The company is competing with other 16 private companies to win the Google Lunar X Prize. The prize will be given to the first private teams who can soft land any unmanned vehicle on the moon.

According to CNBC, Moon Express is the first company that the United States permitted to orbit and explore the moon for possible resources. In 2017, Moon Express secured a mission to send an unmanned vessel to rover the moon.

Moon Express founder Naveen Jain believes that when its mission to the moon next year will be successful, there will also be a chance of moon travel after a few more years. He predicts that in the next few years, people will be able to buy tickets to the moon and back for approximately $10,000.

According to the Telegraph, like Moon Express, other private companies also have plans on selling tickets for a space travel. Virgin Galactic is optimistic that it's optimistic for its spaceflight launch with selling ticket price of $250,000 per person. Another is SpaceX, a private company that also plans to commercialize the space travel in the near future. NASA also has ambitious with a plan on colonizing the planet Mars by 2030.

Meanwhile, Moon Express founder Naveen Jain is hopeful that the moon travel can only take four hours with the use of technological advancement. Also, Jain expressed his enthusiasm in working with SpaceX's founder Elon Musk, "Elon will build the rocket and we do the rover. Essentially, he lays the cables and we do the last mile."
