The first "Transformers: The Last Knight" trailer had fans worried about Bumblebee's fate in the movie. It seems the loveable Autobot dies in the hands of Optimus Prime, who appears to have turned into a villain.
Paramount Pictures unveiled the first "Transformers: The Last Knight" trailer on Monday, which promises an action-packed and explosive film. However, what caught viewers' attention the most is the scene that hints to Bumblebee's death.
Nearing the end of the "Transformers: The Last Knight" trailer, Mark Wahlberg's character, Cade Yeager, is seen trying to shield Bumblebee from Optimus Prime. However, the leader of the Autobots did not back down. Instead, he gives a sinister sneer, utters an unfeeling "Forgive Me" and slays Bumblebee.
Prior to Bumblebee's death, he was seen fighting with Optimus Prime too. Prime seems to have gone rogue in "Transformers: The Last Knight."
It is unclear what caused Optimus Prime to kill one of his own. The Autobots are supposed to be the good robots not like the Decepticons. Instead, Optimus seems to have turned into a villain in Transformers: The Last Knight."
Bumblebee seems to be the only remaining good robot in the movie. The rest are seen battling with full force against the humans. Bumblebee seems to be the only Autobot helping the humans in the Robot vs. Humans fight in "Transformers: The Last Knight."
It is unclear why Optimus Prime had turned his back on the Autobots and the humans in the movie. Could it have something to do with his rebirth? It seems Optimus died or dies in the film too. The "Transformers: The Last Knight" trailer showed Optimus' body in pieces floating through space as Anthony Hopkins voiceover says, "Optimus Prime has left us."
However, someone apparently brought him back. Perhaps he turned into a villain in "Transformers: The Last Knight" after he was revived. His return nonetheless is not good news for viewers, since it means the death of Bumblebee.
