What happens in "Designated Survivor" Season 1, Episode 9?
A new sneak peek has been released and it shows Kimble Hookstraten talking to the new Congressman. She tells him that since he is new, she will give him a "little bit of free advice." Hookstraten tells him that Washington D.C. is all about maintaining relationships. She reminds him that their job is not what the President wants but what is best for the country.
Towards the end of the sneak peek video, she tells a newly appointed Congressman that she doesn't like when power is handed over to someone.

"When classified government documents are leaked online, President Kirkman searches for the party responsible only to find that they have taken refuge inside a foreign embassy and are behind even his reach. Meanwhile, Agent Hannah Wells races furiously to gather evidence of MacLeish's involvement in the conspiracy before he can be confirmed as the country's next Vice President, on ABC's "Designated Survivor," WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7," reads the official synopsis.
Meanwhile, in other news, according to Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Jon Harmon Feldman has been replaced by Jeff Melvoin of "Army Wives." Feldman will be a part of the co-producers in ABC Studios.
