"Resident Evil 7" Beginning Hour demo is in for a huge twist as the game shapes into PlayStation VR entrant, Capcom announced during PSX event in San Francisco. As this title nears January 24th release, Beginning Hour looms for its third update before 2016 ends.
Make no mistake about it, "Resident Evil 7" is still very cool even without this new PlayStation VR support. The first two demo gameplay that Capcom teased were stunners and gamers did enjoy a moment inside the Baker's mansion. Either some managed to survive attacks from Baker family or other simply got slaughtered, "Resident Evil 7" experience was still thrilling yet terrifying.
And with Capcom adding an authentic 360 twist to the game with PlayStation VR - expect heart thumping "Resident Evil 7" moments when it hits the road. This addendum is another sure fire way to engage the gaming world into tension-filled horrors. HeyPoorPlayer reported that initial impression with "Resident Evil 7" PlayStation VR head tracking is seamless.
Remember that "Resident Evil 7" wasn't developed to be a full-blown PlayStation VR title. Even so, Capcom made it look like an exclusive release, Trusted Reviews said. Players will find themselves stretching their necks as they peek through tight spaces while guarding against potential killers. All of "Resident Evil 7" element from VR gameplay to sounds provide seamless immersion to its horrific world.
Meanwhile, "Resident Evil 7" controls are also things of perfection. Players can go either bit by bit or incremental head-turns to free rotation. The former is quite handy for players who aren't yet used to stress and those who are easily drawn into VR world. Mind you, "Resident Evil 7" PlayStation VR is so realistic that weak stomach might throw up by just looking at rotting animal corpses.
At any rate, "Resident Evil 7" is a testament of Capcom quality - gory or not. There might be some downs on the final version but hey, "Resident Evil 7" wasn't intended for PlayStation VR in the first place albeit excellent result.
