"PaRappa the Rapper" is making comeback and this was revealed at the 2016 PlayStation Experience. Sony just created a remastered version and it is almost all set for release on PlayStation 4 next year.
At the PSX 2016, the tech company shared that the HD remaster of "PaRappa the Rapper" was not an easy thing to do. But still, they enjoyed its production because it was something very rewarding on their end.
Aside from the announcement at the PSX, PlayStation EU also tweeted about the game, "That's right! #PaRappa The Rapper is being remastered for PS4 for its 20th anniversary. And there's a demo releasing today! #PSX16."
In any case, the rebooted version of "PaRappa the Rapper" will feature upgraded graphics for an improved visuals especially formatted for 16:9 TV sets. The game will come in 1080p and 4K Ultra HD displays.
Naturally, since "PaRappa the Rapper" is being updated, its music and sound effects are also getting a makeover. This means that even if the tracks are classics, they will be digitally remastered to keep up with the kind of sounds today.
"PaRappa the Rapper" has been tagged as the all-time best rapping game where a doggy is the main character. It is an innovative game that brilliantly combined the mechanics of is Guitar Hero and Rock Band.
Now, as "PaRappa the Rapper" celebrates its 20th anniversary today, Dec. 6, Sony is reviving the game. For fans who would like to try out the game, they can download the demo version for PS4 via PlayStation Store.
"PaRappa the Rapper" was developed by NanaOn Sha and Sony Computer Entertainment published it for the PlayStation console. It was first launched in Japan in Dec. 6, 1996 and was later introduced in Europe and North America in 1997.
