The film "Justice League" is slowly becoming a hype and a must-see movie in 2017. Recently, there is quite a big fuss on Twitter that "The Lone Ranger" star Armie Hammer landed a role in DC's Extended Universe. Chatters are suggesting that Armie Hammer will give life to the character Hal Jordan or Green Lantern.
Stories in this modern age start on Twitter. Out of the blue, DC's Extended Universe Co-head Geoff Johns followed Armie Hammer on Twitter. And Hammer responded in kind. Fans and internet surfers, already declared that Hammer will play Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern in the upcoming Zack Snyder feature, "Justice League".
As ComicBook pointed out, that Hammer trolled and teased fans on Twitter for an imminent huge announcement. After his humorous tweet, Joe Manganiello, who's playing Deathstroke in DCEU, tweeted a cryptic congratulatory tweet to Hammer. Could this mean he already bagged the Green Lantern role in the upcoming "Justice League" film?
Some reports are also suggesting that Armie Hammer could be playing a different role in the forthcoming "Justice League." Some believed that he is most likely to play Shazam. He has the looks of a hero and is very capable of pulling off some humor as well. Though he does not have the muscular physique, he is tall enough to match the Dwayne Johnson's stature.
It is also reported that Darkseid will have a small role in "Justice League". So DC might also be in need of an actor to play this part. Hammer's deep voice will be perfect for the motion capture of the character. Given that Darkseid will only play a small screen time, some are speculating that he can already shoot for this part and star with a bigger role in the next movie.
Up until now, all fans can do is guess, though some believe that official casting will be released in the days to come. "Justice League" is slated to launch on Nov. 17, 2017. For more "Justice League" updates, keep your eyes peeled and stay tuned to Gamenguide.
