WWE's Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2016 " (TLC) or WWE TLC event was truly a treat for professional wrestling fans. As the night concludes with a good mixture of both old and new title holders, lead by "The Phenomenal One" AJ Styles, "The MIz," and "The Wyatt Family." It also paved the way to resolve ongoing issues as well as giving glimpses to future storylines such as how newcomer James Ellsworth screws Dean Ambrose.
In relation to notable matches for the WWE TLC event, Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt were crowned as the new Tag Team Division Champions for this "World Wrestling Entertainment's Tables, Ladders, & Chairs 2016." The duo manages to capture the prestigious title thanks to Randy Orton giving Rhino a devastating RKO a move that has helped the wrestling superstar achieved great heights in WWE.
Going forward "WWE's TLC 2016" also closes the chapter of the Carmela Nikki Bella feud who fans know has been brewing for months. Nikki Bella wins the WWE TLC event confrontation with literally putting out her opponent with a fire extinguisher. However, it will probably lead to a future storyline involving Natalia and Nikki Bella. The match ends with Carmella pointing Natalia as the culprit, when Nikki was attack in a previous even "Survivor Series 2016."
Since we are on the topic of girl power, "WWE's TLC 2016" also showcases the Smack Down Women's Championship changing hands with newcomer Alexa Bliss beating then Champion Becky Lynch by driving Lynch into the table. Fans cannot help but feel that the roster of matches for this year is quite weak compared to previous events. Nevertheless, with a new women's champ emerging from the WWE TLC event, it will be interesting how the company will exploit this.
Moving on to what many considers as the co-main event for WWE TLC event is the match between Dolph Ziggler Vs. The Miz which was exciting to say the least thanks to a long history of matches of both superstars. The most recent was when Dolph puts his career on the line just to get a crack at the Intercontinental title. Needless to say, It was an exciting match as both gave their all, ending in a not-so-sportsmanlike manner as Miz hits Ziggler with two shots at the family jewels that enabled him to remain champion.
Lastly, the match between AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose is for the World Heavyweight Championship. This match made up for a few weak matchups of this year's WWE TLC event and it did not disappoint as both men beat each other with everything they can get their hands on. It showcased what both wrestlers have in their arsenal, but the biggest elephant in the room was James Ellsworth which was viewed as a betrayal considering how Ambrose seems to have helped the newcomer as he makes his way for a spot in WWE's active roster.
In a statement released by Ellsworth as reported by wwenetwork, it seems that the newcomer believes that he has a chance at a title since he has beaten AJ Styles twice thanks to the help of Dean Ambrose. Overall WWE TLC event 2016 was enjoyable however, with the revelations of new storylines, it will be interesting how the these revelations lead to future events.
