It’s finally time to re-visit your childhood with “Dragon Ball.” With Majin Boo defeated half-a-year prior, peace returns to Earth, where Son Goku (now a radish farmer) and his friends now live peaceful lives. When a new threat appeared in form of Beerus, the God of Destruction, considered a terrifying being in the entire universe, Beerus is eager to fight the legendary warrior seen in a prophecy foretold decades ago known as the Super Saiyan God.
The series retells the events from the two Dragon Ball Z films, Battle of Gods and Resurrection 'F' before proceeding to an original story about the exploration of alternate universes.
According to the Comic Book, “Dragon Ball Super” is bringing fans outside of Japan with newly acquired simulcast rights. The company released the voice actors who would be providing English dubbing for the series. The short clip shows Goku scarfing his seventh massive bowl of fried rice while Kai works on his car and scolds the Saiyan. Goku told Kai to fix his car with his powers but it seems like Kai isn’t interested in doing that. Goku came here to train and when he said he couldn’t think of a better place in the universe to build some serious muscle, King Kai looked defeated and shortly after that reminded him with who he was dealing with.
According to IGN Adria, Funimation revealed the voices behind the characters and as you know Seán Schemmel will be Goku again, Christopher R. Sabat will be Vegeti, Jason Douglas will be Beerusa, Ian Sinclair will be Whis while Sonny Strait will be Krillina. Schemmel, Sabat, Douglas, Sinclair and Strait borrowed their voiced for the last film “Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F.”
According to a Reddit forum “Dragon Ball Super” will begin with some time after the battle with Majin Buu. Fans of “Dragon Ball Super” are eager to sail in their childhood memories and re-live the best days of their lives.
