"The Flash" Season 3, Episode 9: What happens in the Winter Finale?
Dr. Alchemy and Savitar are set to ruin Barry's Christmas holidays. However, Barry vows to beat Savitar and he goes to Earth-3 to meet Jay Garrick. Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg talked to Entertainment Weekly with executive producer Greg Berlanti about "The Flash" Season 3, episode 9 winter finale.
Kreisberg revealed that Team Flash would be getting their first conversation with Savitar in the winter finale. They will find out what they are up against in this season. Meanwhile, Berlanti warned that fans should keep their tissue boxes ready as the Christmas episode would be an emotional one.
During the interview, Kreisberg teased that the events of winter finale will change the course of the saga. "So much of the first half of the season has been about Flashpoint and the ramifications of that," Kreisberg said.
"Events will occur in episode 9 that will change the direction of the show moving forward. They will have a greater idea of what threat Savitar faces, and what they're truly up against for this season, and how it is going to take all of them to fight it."
