It might not be an easy task for Dylan O'Brien to go back to the set of "Maze Runner 3". After all, the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 actor had to spend several months recuperating after the accident he suffered while shooting the sequel. Dylan O'Brien Finished With 'American Assassin', Ready To Work On 'Maze Runner 3' In January?
Back in September, fans rejoiced when Dylan O'Brien was reported to start working on "American Assassin", where he plays lead character Mitch Rapp. The news was immediately followed up with a promotional image of the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 star as the young CIA black ops recruit. The film required O'Brien to shoot in Budapest, London and Rome, which would be nowhere near the "Maze Runner 3" set in Canada.
Now some believe that "American Assassin" is nearing completion, which could mean that Dylan O'Brien will be working on "Maze Runner 3" next. After all, filming for the sequel has already been delayed due to the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 star's accident. Since O'Brien appears to have recovered well from his injuries, is he finally ready to shoot for "The Death Cure"?
'Maze Runner 3' To Resume Filming With Dylan O'Brien In January 2017?
Although "Maze Runner 3" was initially confirmed to resume production in February, there are speculations that the sequel could begin filming earlier due to Dylan O'Brien's schedule. It is possible that the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 star could be ready to start filming once again now that "American Assassin" is believed to be almost complete.
"Maze Runner 3" is still scheduled for release on January 12, 2018. "American Assassin" has not been given a release date yet. Dylan O'Brien is also expected to return as Stiles Stilinski in "Teen Wolf" Season 6, which is currently airing on MTV.
