Studio Wildcard's "ARK: Survival Evolved" is coming to PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro and fans are ecstatic about the news. The game will be released on these platforms on Dec. 06, something players have been long waiting for. The wild arcade dinosaur game could very well become one of the most action-packed open world survival games in recent times.
Gamers in North America will be able to get their hands on the complete game with the "Ark: Survivors Pack" for $54.99. European gamers will have to pay €34.99 (US$37) for the base game and an additional €19.99 (US$21) for the "Survivors" expansion pack. Additional purchases for "ARK: Survival Evolved" will be made available to North American players in spring 2017, reports TechAdvisor.
Apart from gamers, even co-founder and lead developer of Wildcard Studio Jeremy Stieglitz is also ecstatic about the PS4 and PS4 Pro launch of "ARK: Survival Evolved." He praised Sony's efforts on the hardware and also the tremendous power of the console. This is probably because of the new version's increased Frame Per Second (FPS).
The console can run consistently at 30FPS and can occasionally go up to 60FPS. In fact, PS4 Pro owners can enjoy a better frame rate that hovers around 50FPS and this is a major improvement over the present console edition that often goes below 30FPS. Thus, PS4 owners will enjoy the enhanced gameplay of "ARK: Survival Evolved" at 720p.
The "Ark: Survivors Pack" is also expected to come with new exclusive skins. PC and Xbox players will also be able to enjoy the game. "ARK: Survival Evolved" is yet to be released though updates are already in place and will be applied once the game is out. The developer has also reportedly planned out the paid DLCs.
