Watch Dogs’ PC requirements point at quad-core necessity [UPDATE]

With the final countdown already started for its upcoming big name titles, it seems like Ubisoft is now revealing all the supported requirements for the titles if they are to be played on PC. Like we've already seen with Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, the company’s massively anticipated open-world hackathon Watch Dogs is no different.

Revealed via the official Uplay store, the company states that the PC version of Watch Dogs will only be supported on 64-bit operating systems. Although the page has now been pulled down by Ubisoft, a NeoGAF user has saved all the details related to the requirements. Interestingly, the list of requirements also shows a certain something called “Ultra” specification.

Watch Dogs for PC, which doesn’t even consider the support for dual-cores for the game, will require a DirectX 11 GPU with at least 1GB of VRAM, alongside a quad core CPU and at least 4GB of RAM. Example GPUs for the game include NVidia GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD 5770, and an Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 or AMD Phenom X4 9750.

Users will need a DirectX 11 GPU with at least 2GB of VRAM, an eight-core CPU or more and 8GB of RAM or more to reach that "Ultra" specification level.

Check out the full list of requirements below, as listed in NeoGAF:
