It was not so long ago that the Moto 360 smartwatch was one of the most interesting smartwatches on the market. The war in smartwatches is not in the pipeline of Lenovo, which for almost three years bought Motorola, has reversed. As the technology grows, there have been plenty of Chinese smartwatch manufacturer which compete the market of the Western gadget manufacturer.
Moto 360 smartwatch, the smartwatch produced by Motorola, increases by 60% the load available for Moto Z, Z Force and Z Play. It has LED indicators to check how much power the extra battery pack contains. It also has a secondary USB-C port which can be recharged without being connected to devices.
According to Indian Express, Shakil Barkat, global head of product development at Motorola, recently revealed that the company "does not see such great demand to put a new smartwatch in the market at the moment." Motorola recently bet on the Moto 360 smartwatch that has won a share of the public that is interested in this type of accessory.
A second generation arrived at the end of 2015 with expected improvements and it was expected that the third generation would arrive along with Android Wear 2.0. However, it is not clear if in the distant future will be released another Moto 360 smartwatch.
During the smartwatch battle and uncertainty of Motorola smartwatch production, Moto 360 smartwatch could be the last version of smartwatch produced by the US giant tech, Motorola. Especially, if the market drops and tend to profit Motorola from the smartphone industry.
So far, Motorola has been well-known as a tech manufacturer that produce durable device with a reasonable price. Motorola has also been engaged with android operating system at the very first generation of what Google has sold commercially first time. Even though it is hard for Motorola to keep standing in the smartwatch market, it is expected that Moto 360 smartwatch is a quality and durable device that still can result a sales in the market.
