Last March, the star of "Maze Runner" franchise was involved in a major accident which caused a frenzy for fans of the movie. Reports stated that the actor almost died during the "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" film production because he fell off his safety vehicle. The accident gave him a concussion, facial fracture and a few lacerations.
However, recently the actor has been spotted in "American Assassin" film production that was shooting in Rome. Fans of "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" can now heave a sigh of relief because Dylan O'Brien is now back working, and film production for the latest installment of the "Maze Runner" is set to resume on February 2017.
Stars coming back to "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" are Dylan O'Brien as Thomas, Katherine McNamara as Sonya, Kaya Scodelario as Teresa, Nathalie Emmanuel as Harriet, Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Newt, Giancarlo Esposito as Jorge, Rosa Salazar as Brenda, and Barry Pepper as Vince. Now that Dylan O'Brien is back, filming will once again resume and the release date will be push back from Feb. 17, 2017 to Jan. 12, 2018.
The second movie, "Maze Runner: Scorch Trials" left fans in a quite exciting ending as Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) and his friends face the challenges of the Scorch and demystifying the powerful organization known as WCKD. Now, left with the last book of the trilogy by James Dashner, fans are excited to see the personification of Thomas and company and how the production will go about the story of the last book.
There are also rumors that Dylan O'Brien will be leaving "Teen Wolf" so he can focus on filming "Maze Runner: The Death Cure." Reports have it that producers of the movie were negotiating whether or not Dylan should leave the series and focus on the movie. On the other hand, fans are saying that there is no need for him to leave the series as there is still enough time seeing as the release date of the movie has been moved to 2018.
