"Jessica Jones'" pilot season ended in a relief when main protagonist Kilgrave (David Tennant) was eliminated. The Marvel Netflix series has been renewed for another season and fans are already excited to know what happens next for Jessica after Kilgrave and when it was teased that she will be dealing with multiple villains in "Jessica Jones" Season 2.
Everyone agrees that it's hard to beat David Tennant's performance as Kilgrave so it would be difficult to imagine who would take his place in "Jessica Jones" Season 2. According to Arts.Mic, the series' Kilgrave is, no doubt, the most compelling villain in the Marvel series that Netflix will need to figure out how to introduce something even more convincing than Tennant's character.
The good news is that Netflix has plenty of time to plan for the villain arc in "Jessica Jones" Season 2 since the series isn't returning until after sometime in 2018. However, fans of the series are optimistic that "The Defenders," in which Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones is also expected to make an appearance, will drop clues as to who the superheroine's next villain will be. There had been speculations as to who these multiple villains in Season 2 could be but they haven't been confirmed.
Meanwhile, there have been speculations that "Jessica Jones" Season 2 will finally introduce Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor) as Hellcat. Trish has always been a brave woman and fans saw what she can do, especially when she took Will's (Wil Traval) performance-enhancing pills. It is likely that Season 2 will see Trish's character develop further.
"Jessica Jones" Season 2 could also explain more of the organization known as I.G.H., which was introduced in towards the final episodes of the previous season. It was already revealed that this organization was behind Will/Nuke's pills, but rumors are rife that the group could also be responsible for Jessica's superhuman strength that she got after being in a car wreck. Fans will know more about the second season once Netflix or the show executives provide an update in the future.
