Marvel Entertainment had just released its newest “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” trailer last Dec 3. So far, the trailer already has 6M views. The movie is the second installment from its successful debut last 2014 that starred Chris Pratt (as Star-Lord/Peter Quill), Zoe Saldana (as Ganama), Bradley Cooper (as Rocket Raccoon), Dave Bautista (as Cue Drax), and Vin Diesel (as Baby Groot).
Though the plot of the sequel for the galaxy-inspired movie, the trailer’s two-minute run has just given its fans and followers a quick and fresh view of the major characters. According to E! News, Marvel has just shown off from the latest trailer of the “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” its cute character, Baby Groot, who have become more adorable and still comical as we all expect him to be.
There’s a scene where Rocket Raccoon prevents him from detonating an atomic bomb and the little tree innocently replies, “I am Groot” repeatedly while still trying to press the deadly detonating button. Then, goes the sexual tension between Star-Lord and Gamora in another cut of the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" trailer.
In the revelation scene, an alien, who seems to have the skill to read minds, just blurted out that Star-Lord has sexual feelings for his female teammate, Gamora. Cue Drax couldn’t help but laugh out loud and he said, "She just told everyone your deepest, darkest secret! You must be so embarrassed! The laugh itself reminds us of a cool "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" team.
Aside from promising comical and romantic scenes, it is also rumored that the “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” will also dig on Star-Lord’s daddy issues. Kurt Russell will play the role of Peter Quill’s father and Ego the Living Planet. Literally, Quill’s father is an intellectual planet that has a bearded face and huge dreams of conquest. How Mama Quill and a planet made Peter is another question that hopefully will be answered in the sequel.
According to Digital Spy, the “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” US-release is scheduled on May 5, 2017, while the UK will see the action-pack movie on April 28, 2017. Watch the latest trailer below and get more comic relief from the cast.
