There is a possibility that "Bloodline" season 3 will be the last season for the show because Florida is cutting back on its incentive programs. Many fans are trying to say that the show can continue to a new location or Florida puts back the incentive program they have years ago.
Florida, unlike other states, did not have incentives on the front end, but the state offered a small tax rebate if Florida residents were hired during the production. With this, and with the state's diverse location, many programs were filmed in Florida which gave more $1 billion dollars in Florida's economy. However, this program was ended as no successor program was passed in the Legislature which might have caused the producers of "Bloodline" season 3 to watch out for their budget and decided to end the series in three seasons only.
According to "Bloodline" executive director, Daniel Zelman, they initially had planned for the series to have six seasons, but Netflix suddenly announced in September that it will end in season 3 and is expected to come out late 2017. There is no news as to the plot of the third and last season of "Bloodline", producers are keeping it secret but it is expected that season 3 will focus on Nolan (Owen Teague), Danny Rayburn's (Ben Mendelsohn) son and his struggle to separate himself from his father's past. Danny Rayburn is also expected to appear on the show in flashbacks and hallucinations.
Fans are also speculating that "Bloodline" season 3 will be full of plot twists and it being the last season, might slowly reveal the truth about Danny Rayburn's death. "Bloodline" is about the Rayburn family keeping their dark secrets and crime by living a respectable life and is duly being disturbed with the appearance of their black sheep son, Danny Rayburn.
