Ninja Theory’s new title “Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice” will soon be released, so what is there to know, before the date of the big release? Will the game hold up to the expectations?
First news on “Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice” comes from PC Games Network, they share that the release date of the game has been pushed from 2016 to 2017. Even though sad news, it is time needed by the developers to further polish the game. One of the reasons for the delay in the development is the human resources which Ninja Theory has available at the moment.
Even though it is seen as an AAA title, the game has fifteen people working on it, which could be quite the strenuous load for a small team. Still, it is better for the game to be delayed, than released in a buggy or unfinished state, as many of the big companies have made it a habit of doing.
Euro Gamer shares another reason for the game’s delay. They say that Ninja Theory is working together with Epic Games on developing and applying a new motion capture technology, which will revolutionize the gaming industry and the gaming experience. This means that “Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice” has some surprises awaiting for the gamers, among which are some stunning graphics and graphical performances. If that is true, than the wait will surely be worth, just so gamers would be able to experience the next generation of motion capture.
Fab Newz shares one more reason for the game’s delay and that is a failed Ninja Theory project.
They were working on a game, which got cancelled and this created a series of problems which had to be addressed and resolved, before the company could go on with further work. Even though things have not been easy for them, they keep on pushing forward and it is good to hear that the cancellation of the game did not have terrible consequences for the studio.
“Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice” will be released during the year of 2017.
