While there isn't any release date attached to the highly anticipated open world action video game "Death Stranding," Hideo Kojima has hinted at new details about the game. In fact, "Horizon: Zero Dawn" developers Guerrilla Games is lending Decima Engine for upcoming Kojima Productions game.
The news comes via Eurogamer, which reports that Kojima himself revealed that Guerrilla Games is lending Decima Engine for "Death Stranding." Earlier this year, Kojima teamed up wuth Sony's Mark Cerny to find an engine for "Death Stranding." Hints on social media pointed to Guerilla Games lending Decima Engine for upcoming Kojima Productions game. The Decima Engins is the same one found in "Horizon: Zero Dawn."
During this weekend's PlayStation Experience event, Kojima confirmed that Guerilla Games lending Decima Engine for "Death Stranding." According to Polygon, Kojima announced during the event that Guerilla Games is now the "technical partner" of Kojima Productions for "Death Stranding."
Kojima also shared that before they signed any deals for "Death Stranding," the Dutch developer Guerrilla Games gave Kojima box containing the source code for the Decima Engine. Kojima admitted that the box symbolized "the treasure of Guerilla," and that the gesture made him feel "very special."
Now that Guerilla Games lending Decime engine for upcoming Kojima Productions game "Death Stranding," is there a release date in mind? Kojima kept mum on any release date for the upcoming game, fans are hoping that a timeline would be revealed soon.
