This latest instalment from the "Final Fantasy" series has some comical creatures that offer stellar rewards. One of these trivial but lucrative creatures is the Cactuar. It is a dancing and running cactus that can be found at the outskirts of Leide. The Cactuar is extremely uncommon and comes in three forms: the Cactuar, the Slactuar, and the Gigantuar. Cactuar once killed rewards players with a massive amount of experience points.
Earn Massive Experience by Finding a Cactuar
The best place to find a Cactuar or Slactuar is in Leide. It is located north-west of Hammerhead and north of Longwythe. There are instances when players have also found these creatures in Duscae. They are usually around the Perpetouss Keep, which is an enemy fortress in the area. Though these are the best places to spot a Cactuar and Slactuar, most of the time they do not always appear when players visit the areas.
To aid players in catching them, it best to use the summoning whistle. Players must keep summoning enemies until a Cactuar or Slactuar appear. In addition, players should look for these creatures starting around 5 am. This is because, both the Cactuar and Slactuar brood most often in the morning just after dawn. Gigantuar, on the other hand, makes an appearance during a hunt in the game according to Gamerant.
Earn Massive Experience by Killing a Cactuar
Once a Cactuar spawns, players need to use Daggers and Guns to kill them quickly. They move fast and will scurry away speedily. Also, both creatures can repel fire spells so using it must be avoided. Thunder and Ice spells are effective. However, it is recommended that players make the most of Wait Mode to plan their movements and attacks.
Earn Massive Experience and Worthwhile Rewards
Cactuar and Slactuar gives 3,333 experience points. Cactuars drop Oracle Ascension Coins used for powerful magic boosts when crafting spells. I can also be traded for priced gears and items in Altissa. Slactuars drop Cactuar Needles required in order for Cid to upgrade some machine-type weapons in weapon upgrade quests. Basically, players need to collect a fair number of these Cactuar Needles for weapons upgrade when the needs arise.
