"Ark: Survival Evolved" may not be out yet but it already has many updates that are waiting to be applied once it comes out on Dec. 6. In addition, paid DLCs have also been planned out ahead, and most probably, what players will certainly be excited about is the inclusion of achievements in the content.
It was said that the first update will arrive shortly after the release of "Ark: Survival Evolved," so it will be this month as well. The update is called the v748.0 and it will bring in a variety of rewards and achievements for Xbox One users.
To be more precise, reports stated that Studio Wildcard is planning to launch the "Ark: Survival Evolved" v748.0 patch on Dec. 14. This update is also expected to boost overall performance and gameplay of Ark's.
On the other hand, the patch for PC users will also be released on Dec. 21. According to Ark's forums, the PC version has been tagged as patch v253.
The upcoming "Ark: Survival Evolved"patch will introduce new dinosaurs such as Troodon, Tusoteuthis, Pegomastax, and Therizinosaurus. Players will also see two new full-scale underwater caves with artifacts and Tek Tier Phase 1.
A holiday event was also revealed and it is called the "Winter Wonderland 2." More cosmetics and items are coming too, plus the DodoRex will show itself in "Ark: Survival Evolved."
Moving on, it should be noted that there will be a game reset of the Extinction servers for "Ark: Survival Evolved." Studio Wildcard explained this reset to players:
"Our decision to make these changes is based on the idea of each player's experience on an Extinction server being a unique one," Wildcard game developer Jat wrote on Steam. "The servers were intended to provide survivors with a fresh environment to compete in, over a short period of time."
The "Ark: Survival Evolved" team added that by making this change, they will be able to see that things are always updated since players have to play on a totally different may in each cycle.
Finally, after the reset of "Ark: Survival Evolved" Extinction Server's lifecycle, a completely new map will emerge for a fresh new start and gameplay experience for all gamers.
