It's official! Yes and Twitter are joining forces to better connect people around events. Twitter has recently acquired the start-up Palo Alto-based company Yes, Inc. and immediately made its CEO Keith Coleman as the new Vice President of Twitter.
According to report, aside from Coleman, an additional seven Yes employees will also be joining his team. The CEO of the makers of Frenzy and WYD Keith Coleman is a former product manager for Google and is now the new product chief of Twitter in which the role has been vacant since summer.
Prior to becoming Yes' CEO, Coleman and his team spent their careers in developing products such as Gmail, Paypal, Android, Inbox and others that have been serving a lot of users in the world.
Couldn't be more pleased to welcome @kcoleman as VP of Product. He and his team are great additions to Twitter. Welcome onboard!

In a lengthy post of Yes, it announced that they will be shutting down its own apps in the coming weeks to focus and give way to the transition. They also expressed gratitude to their loyal users for supporting their apps: real-life event planning app Frenzy and photo-sharing WYD.
"Today, we're excited to announce a new chapter in the journey: Yes will be joining Twitter! Our team has always admired Twitter, a product that brings the whole world closer," in a statement it said. "In the coming weeks, we'll be shutting down our apps so that we can focus entirely on our new efforts. We are sad to see them go, but excited about the future."
In an article of Tech Times, a Twitter's spokeswoman declined to revealed the purchase price for the start-up company, but the good news is that they were able to convince Coleman to be part of their executive line-up.
