Sherman Palladino and husband executive producer and director Dan Palladino had been very joyous having "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" back. Netflix Vice President Cindy Holland has recalled "Wherever they lead we will follow" referencing the show's beloved theme song.
"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" has premiered last Friday at Fox Bruin Theater in Westwood Los Angeles. The creator Palladino has been emotional that the show has been highly anticipated up to now. Returning casts who were in attendance were of course the creator and her husband Sherman and Dan Palladino. They were joined by avid fans who have waited for four long hours just to take a seat at the theater.
According to reports, Sherman gave thanks to all who were present in the premier. She shared that it was always nice to have them walk into Warner Bros and then next at Netflix. To the fans who were eagerly waiting for this show, who were excited that finally after 25 years "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" is back!

The Hollywood reporter wrote that the revival of "Gilmore Girls" has been almost a decade. The show aired in Warner Bros, and it has been cancelled in CW in 2007 and then finally in Netflix it aired in October 2014. Since then the talks did not stop about its revival as the cast were reunited at the 2015 ATX Television Festival.

Meanwhile, Edward Herman who reprised the role as Richard Gilmore in "Gilmore Girls" died in December 2014, just before the ATX reunion and the talks of reviving the show.
