Rachel Lindsay, one of the contestants appearing on "The Bachelor 2017" with Nick Viall, is having a part of her past exposed in a new report. It's a classic case of someone affiliated with The Bachelor franchise having something in their history that would eventually find its way in the headlines.
Radar Online obtained some legal documents filed against Rachel Lindsay for allegedly "causing a car wreck." Documents from the "Dallas County District Court" reveal that the apparent victim in the crash accused Rachel Lindsay of negligently failing to control her vehicle, which caused a collision between them.
"On June 14, 2013 while traveling south bound on highway US-75; in Dallas County, plaintiff's vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by defendant Lindsay,"-As stated by the petition.
"Defendant Lindsay negligently failed to control the speed of or stop her car. Defendant's negligence caused damage to the car being driven by the plaintiff and to plaintiff's person."-Added by the records in the petition.
According to the report, the plaintiff requested damages for medical expenses, pain, future suffering, and compensation for past physical ailments, loss in earnings, and mental anguish. "The Bachelor 2017" contestant denied the accusations and the parties settled with "State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company" with Lindsay agreeing to pay the plaintiff $12,500. The lawsuit against Lindsay was dismissed with prejudice in return.

The two had a one-on-one date in New Orleans when filming began and several photos were posted on social media of the two having a great time together.
