It's been two months since the Google Pixel entered the smartphone scene to steal the thunder from the exploding Samsung Galaxy Note 7's and the jackless iPhone 7's. Since then, Google's smartphone endeavor off to a good start. It even recently beat the iPhone 7 to the drop test. But despite its slow and steady growth, it seems that some camera issues are arising.
According to NDTV, Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL users have been experiencing issues with the smartphone's camera. It seems that camera issues arising after Google's smartphone endeavor off to a good start. The report says that the camera of the Google Pixel freezes all of a sudden while in use. In addition, there have been sightings of pink and purple vertical lines on the screen when the camera freezes.
In addition to the camera issues arising, it seems that the only way to reset or solve them is through a hard reboot of the Google Pixel. Other users have taken to the Google Product Forums as well to share their experiences with the Google Pixel. Others shared that the camera issues arising are more persistent when there is a low network signal. Others say that the camera issues go away when the Google Pixel is in Airplane Mode.
Other known issues surrounding the Google Pixel are LTE connectivity issues, as well as Bluetooth pairing with cars. Now that Google's smartphone endeavor is off to a good start, the issues are flooding into the tech company, which promises to resolve them.
In other Google Pixel news, BGR reports that the Google Pixel beats iPhone 7 to the drop test. The drop test was conducted by YouTube user UnlockRiver, who hung both the iPhone 7 and the Google Pixel from a drone at 1,000 feet above the ground. Both smartphones were then dropped onto solid concrete to see which one survives the fall.
