Westworld will be capping its 1st season with a bang with a 90-minute episode on Sunday December 4. The final episode hopes to answer the lingering questions and prove (or disprove) the many theories fans have speculated. Set pictures from the season finale may give us some clues to where Westworld's latest episode will be about.
In one of the pictures, we see Evan Rachel Wood's Dolores reunite with her former tormentor in Ed Harris' "Man in Black." In the last episode we see Dolores finally regaining her memories about her origins and Arnold. Her last scene also showed the "Man in Black" make an appearance, reuniting the two characters. The picture may then point out that the two are working together to find the center of Westworld's maze. Dolores may have finally accepted who she is and is cooperating with the "Man in Black." Will they finally solve, Westworld's maze?
Elsewhere, we see James Marden's Teddy in another picture back to where Wyatt and supposedly Teddy participated in a massacre. Fans have speculated that Teddy is in fact Wyatt in the past. Teddy like Dolores is slowly regaining his memory and his return to the place of massacre might clear things up.
Maeve meanwhile has her revolution going according to plan. In the earlier episodes Maeve has planned her escape from Westworld. She recruited Hector and his partner Armistice to help her escape the park's security. In the picture, we see the the three of them along with host surgeon Felix who gave Maeve' the ability to control other hosts. Maeve has recruited her army but may not be enough to escape the park knowing how Ford works.
Speaking of Ford, there aren't pictures of him included in the set. But fans can be assured that his new narrative will be the focus of Westworld's final episode of the season and beyond.
It will be a long wait for Westworld fans after the first season ends. Season 2 isn't expected to be released until 2018. But with a show like Westworld, fans can spend more time dissecting the first season for clues on the next season. Westworld the show in it self, is its own maze of hints and signs. Just like it's characters, fans can also try and look for the center of Westworld's maze.
